This thin glass fibre mesh is coated first with highly conductive carbon nanotubes and then with a protective electrically insulating coating. The mesh radiates heat when 42 V AC is applied across it. The heat is distributed evenly and the temperature is regulated to maximum 40°C, so there is no risk of burns or fire.

Applications for the heating mesh:

The mesh is used for electric radiant surface heating in buildings where it is installed invisibly within walls, floors, and ceilings. The heating element takes up very little space and it is therefore also used in caravans, mobile homes, and container homes.

Details:

The heating system is completely silent and maintenance-free, and it will still function if damaged by nails or screws after installation. There are different products for walls, ceilings, and floors.

Idea:

Use the mesh to make a heated rollable sleeping mat for camping in cold climates. It can also be used to melt away ice on critical off-shore installations.

The sample:

The sample measures approximately 9 cm x 9 cm.

All samples come with a laminated information card, which includes contact details for the supplier.
