Smaller sections can be bent by hand, but larger sections will require more force (e.g. c-clamps or even a bending machine).

Used for:
It is used mostly in furniture design and architecture. Applications include handrails, edges of tables, and curved baseboards.

Details:
Unjointed sections can be bent to a radius of ~10 times their thickness. The wood is not suited for outdoor use. Because the wood remains flexible indefinitely, it cannot be used for structural purposes. The maximum size available is 120 mm x 120 mm x 1.65 m in oak, ash, maple, cherry, walnut, and beech (length 2.2 m). Longer lengths can be created by joining pieces together.

You get a stirrer stick with the dimensions 33 cm x 2.5 cm x 4 mm. You can easily bend the sample by hand, and it can easily be rebent if necessary. You can bend it till the ends meet.

All samples come with a laminated information card, which includes contact details for the supplier.
