3D-Printed Polyetherimide (PEI) - High-performance food-safe material

€12.00

This 3D-printed thermoplastic material has very high tensile strength, chemical resistance, and temperature resistance. The material is certified food-safe and bio-compatible. It has a heat deflection temperature of more than 210°C and can therefore withstand sterilization by steam autoclaving. It is supplied as a filament for 3D printing by fused deposition modeling (FDM).

What is 3D-printed polyetherimide (PEI) used for:

Printed PEI parts are used in the aerospace, automotive, food production, and medical industries for both functional prototyping and low-volume production. The material is used in the food processing industry to print items including machine fixtures, cookie cutters, and decorating masks. It is used in medical applications for surgical guides, custom instruments, tools, and fixtures.

Details:

It is available in its natural light brown colour. Printed parts can be surface treated to achieve food-grade finishes.
