Printed Rewritable Memory

The sticker can be affixed to cardboard or card stock, or affixed directly onto products. It can be used for high-volume consumer applications such as personalised toys, loyalty cards, collectible card games, and interactive board games. It is possible to integrate the technology with antennas and sensors to create fully printed systems, such as data loggers or product authenticity indicators.

The first-generation printed memory stores 20 bits of data, with capacity expected to increase as the technology advances. The memory sticker has a lifespan of over 10 years and is resistant to water and unaffected by magnetic fields. The printed layer contains no semiconductors or toxic materials. Produced using a high-volume roll-to-roll process, the memory can cost as little as a few cents per unit.

The manufacturer has ceased operations, so it is no longer possible to integrate the technology into new products. I'll sell the sample to curious product developers, designers, and inventors as long as the stock lasts.
