Plastic Materials Sample Set

Moulded samples of 20 of the most commonly used plastics.

The sample set is a good reference when selecting plastics and a great tool to illustrate and communicate properties to non-experts. The set is also used by educators to give students a hands-on feel of the plastics.

The moulded samples have many features to help illustrate properties such as:

- Stiffness 
- Surface finish 
- Fluidity during moulding 
- Sensitivity to sink marks
- Warpage

Each sample has an attached information card. Besides basic information about the material, the card also includes a QR code that you can scan to access more information about the material.

  • Hello, could it be possible to order these plates in dedicated materials and colors? 20pcs of each.

    It will require sourcing the plastic compound and setting up the injection moulding machine several times. I fear it will be prohibitively expensive. But please contact us at futation@futation.com so we can discuss the options.
