Digital Transfer Decoration - Decoration of plastics with low set-up costs
Graphics, photos, and text are digitally printed on a coated polyester film and the ink is then transferred to the surface of plastic parts under heat and pressure (hot stamping). Digital printing allows for cost-effective decoration of low- to medium-volume products with a short lead time. It is possible to do customisation, unique graphics, or subsequent numbering on individual products.
It is used to decorate promotional objects such as pens, cups, ice buckets, stirrers, and waiter trays. It is also used to decorate phone covers, cosmetic items, and signs.
The graphics are transferred to flat, round, cylindrical, or shaped geometries using standard hot-stamping machinery. The printing process produces full-colour graphics with a resolution of up to 1200 dpi, resulting in higher quality full-color imagery than traditional screen-printed transfers.
Create toys with individually unique graphics.
