PP - Polypropylene Plastic Sample (Homopolymer)

Polypropylene Homopolymer (PP-H) is a highly versatile thermoplastic made from a single type of propylene monomer. It offers a high strength-to-weight ratio, excellent chemical resistance, and good thermal stability, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and consumer applications. PP-H has a higher stiffness and better tensile strength than polypropylene copolymer, along with superior heat resistance, typically allowing continuous use at temperatures up to 100°C.

This material is commonly used in injection molding, extrusion, and thermoforming processes to manufacture products such as automotive parts, packaging, piping systems, household goods, and laboratory equipment. PP-H also has excellent resistance to acids, bases, and many organic solvents, which makes it ideal for chemical handling and storage applications.

Its low moisture absorption and high purity also make it suitable for medical and food-grade applications. PP-H is 100% recyclable and is typically identified by recycling code #5.
