Wooden Nails - Offers high strength and easy installation

€8.00

These wooden nails are made from beech wood compressed with a phenolic resin. The wooden nails look good, do not stain the wood surface, protect woodworking tools, and do not create thermal bridges. The nails have a tensile strength similar to aluminium nails and can therefore be driven into solid structural timber with a pneumatic (air powered) nailing tool. The heat generated by friction when the nail is driven in causes the lignin of the nail to weld with the surrounding wood, creating a very strong bond. The use of the nailing tool makes for a very fast and easy installation compared with traditional wooden dowels, which require pre-drilling.

Used for:

The nails are used to mount and assemble wood façades, fences, furniture, floors, saunas, and even coffins.

Details:

The nails are available in different sizes. Wooden nails can be driven with a hammer, but a better result is achieved with the pneumatic nailing machine.

Idea:

Use the nails to assemble sustainable garden furniture that contains neither metal nor glue.

The sample:

You get two nails as seen on the product photo.

All samples come with a laminated information card, which includes contact details for the supplier.
