Paper for Printed Electronics - Paper optimised for printing with conductive inks

€10.00

This specialised paper has a very smooth surface texture and a coating that makes it an ideal substrate for printing with conductive metal inks. The paper supports high-resolution fine patterning and does not absorb the expensive inks, thereby reducing the cost of printing. The paper is recyclable and biodegradable. It is also lightweight and flexible, so the paper with printed patterns can be easily folded, cut, or torn. It is available as raw paper or with a functional embedded NFC chip and a printed antenna.

Applications:

Paper with printed NFC antennas combined with very small NFC chips is used for intelligent packaging, magazines, high-security event tickets, and security documents.

Details:

The conductive inks can be printed with screen, flexo, gravure, or offset printing.

Idea:

Apply low-cost printed NFC-enabled price stickers on hang tags for clothing to create a customer loyalty program.

The sample:

Notice the printed antenna circuit embedded within the paper sample. It has an NFC chip you can read with most modern smartphones.

All samples come with a laminated information card, which includes contact details for the supplier.
